The European Youth Ministers have created a mechanism for consultation that allows them to stay in a continuous dialogue with young people covering the policies affecting them in particular: the Structured Dialogue.

This instrument consists of national consultations in the Member States and the European Youth Conferences. The final conference of the current cycle of dialogue (July 2014 - December 2015) will be held in Luxembourg.

Its purpose is to put forward a set of recommendations on the "empowerment" of young people for political participation.

These recommendations will be submitted to the Youth Ministers at the Council meeting in November 2015.
