On 16 and 17 July 2015, the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union welcomes EU Directors General in Luxembourg for their traditional informal meeting.
The Directors General for European Affairs at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of EU Member States, as well as representatives of the President of the European Council, the General Secretariat of Council and the European Commission are going to have an exchange of views on the priorities put forward by the Luxembourg Presidency and the main challenges that the EU will be confronted with in the coming six months. EU candidate countries are invited to participate in this first working session. The second session will be dedicated to institutional issues, as well as the respect for the rule of law in the EU.
